Formed in 2009 by Australia’s highly-respected Burberry Productions and New Zealand’s preeminent production house, South Pacific Pictures, Burberry Entertainment is headed by CEO Ewan Burnett and draws on the resources and combined market knowledge of two companies that collectively have produced thousands of hours of screen content.

Burberry Entertainment’s latest production Dead Gorgeous is now screening on the ABC and around the world. This show builds on Burberry Productions’ hugely successful catalogue of prime-time drama, mini-series, children’s series, sketch comedy, and animation series. Burberry programs have been awarded with an EMMY, a BAFTA, three AFIs, one Logie and four ATOM Awards for shows such as Animalia, Last Man Standing, Bootleg and the mini-series The Farm for the ABC. 

South Pacific Pictures, headed by John Barnett, is New Zealand’s largest and most successful production company and part of the All3Media group. It currently has a number of shows in production including Stolen, Shortland Street, Go Girls, and the feature film Girl Meets Boy. Other shows produced in its 22 year history include New Zealand’s Got Talent, Being Eve, Maddigan’s Quest and Mercy Peak. South Pacific had a major international success with the BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated Whale Rider.
