In addition to Burberry’s own programs and international co-productions the company takes on the management and production of projects for other companies, distributors and broadcasters.
In 2002 Burberry produced the 42 week Saturday morning variety program sn:tv for Nickelodeon Australia. Featuring interviews, live music, competitions and comedy sketches, this series was based on the successful ITV series SM:TV. Each episode of sn:tv was taped before a live audience of 100 children. In 2006, Burberry made Walking With Dinosaurs, ‘The Making of the Live Experience’ for WWT-Rex Touring. Burberry also produced the 3 hour family mini-series Bootleg for the BBC. Commissioned in May 2002, this program went to air on the BBC three weeks before Christmas that year. In 2003 Bootleg won the BAFTA for Best Children’s Drama.
